Join Subvino and Civic Winery for a weekend of events

Three evenings of tastings, classes and special guests will be held at the NEW Civic Winery in midtown Eugene.

Please join Subvino at the newly established Civic Winery and Wines at 50 E. 11th Avenue in midtown Eugene as we offer a weekend of exciting events January 31 to February 2. Civic Winery and Wines is a new Eugene Urban Winery, Restaurant, Wine Bar & Bottle shop. The evenings of Thursday, January 31 through Saturday, February 2 will provide three chances to explore the repurposing of a storied building into one devoted to wine production, storage and the presentation of wines in diverse settings and formats. Over three nights, we look at the world of carefully made natural wines, with an emphasis on terra-cotta vessels and low-intervention techniques. Two special guest winemakers will join us to show off their wines, the facility, and the unique way in which they craft wines, and how they have helped to shape Civic Wines.

Civic Winery and Wine Bar

Phillip returns to Eugene (his new home is now in Nashville, TN!) to conduct a seminar focusing on the best of the natural wine movement, and what it means for your sensory enjoyment. The world of wines is on the table, and we will taste through the wines that are soon to be showcased in the Civic wine bar. Less intervention and manipulation both in the vineyard and the winery leads to a broader, less homogenized range of smells, tastes and textures that you can enjoy. Cost: $30/ person
